Social Studies
We have completed our Building Healthy Relationships Program with Mrs. Kelly. Thank you so much for your help with this important program. Be on the lookout for our 3rd grade picture in the newspaper.  We will begin a Map Skills Unit in Social Studies after the Thanksgiving Break. A list of 12 "map"

related words will be sent home soon. We will be discussing these more in class as we learn to read and interpret a map correctly. An assessment over these words and definitions will be given later on in December.

MATH NEWS

Our November Math Vocabulary Test will be next Tuesday, Nov. 26th.

Keep practicing multiplication facts, too! We will test x3 on the following Thursday (Dec. 5th).

Science News

We will continue our chapter on rocks and minerals. Our school Science Fair will be on December 12th. Third grade students are not required to participate; however, if students choose to do a project, they will earn an extra 100 in Science. If your child wants to do a project, send a note and Mrs. Stratton will send home the information.
